What this is

Role Den lists open positions. Employers register their own account, submit documents so an administrator can confirm who they are, and publish their own listings. Job seekers search those listings, type a CV on their profile or link to one, and apply through the site. Nothing here is aggregated or resold from another board: a listing exists because the employer that owns it posted it.

Verification comes first

Every employer account holds one of four verification states. A listing is public only when the company is approved, the listing is open and not held for review, and it has not passed its end date. Every change of state is written to an append-only review log. Verification establishes who an employer is; it is not a judgement on the accuracy of any single listing.

  • Pending — the account exists and is waiting for review.
  • Under review — an administrator is working through the documents that were submitted.
  • Approved — the employer can publish listings. A listing is public unless it is held for review, paused, closed or past its end date.
  • Rejected — review did not confirm the account. Listings stay out of public search, and the reason is shown to the employer.

For employers

Create an account, upload the documents that show who you are, and post once you are approved. Where the site is configured to require a subscription, billing runs through Stripe and card details are entered on Stripe's own pages, never here. A listing belongs to the account that created it, and each application against it moves through five recorded states: pending, reviewed, shortlisted, rejected, hired. A listing stays public for 60 days unless the board's staff set another time, and the company can renew it. The time starts when an approved company posts a listing that is not held, when the company is approved (for a listing it saved while it waited), when staff release a held listing, or when the company renews it. Pausing a listing does not stop the time. The posting rules say what a listing may say.

For job seekers

Search by keyword, location, category and job type; results are newest first unless you sort them by pay or by oldest. Where an employer takes applications through its own system, the listing sends you to the employer's own site to apply. A profile holds your name, email address, an optional phone number and a CV you type yourself (up to 1,000 words), which you can change or clear whenever you like; when you apply you can also paste a link to a CV. No CV files are uploaded. You can add a headline, location, skills and when you are available, and turn on employer discovery: it is off by default, and only while it is on can verified employers find a card with your initials, headline and skills and send you an approach. Your name, email address and phone number are shared only if you reply. Job seekers are never charged, for browsing or for applying.

Reports and blocks

A job seeker who is signed in can report a job, a message from a company or a company, and can block a company. Staff read the reports. The safety page says how.

What this is not

This board is not an employment agency, and it is not your employer. It publishes listings and passes applications to the employer that posted them; interviews, offers and contracts are between you and that employer. Verification confirms an employer's identity, not the terms of a role or the outcome of an application.

Questions

Account questions, corrections and takedown requests go through the contact page. The privacy notice sets out exactly what the site stores, and the terms of use cover the rules for both sides. The posting rules and the safety page say what a listing may say and how to spot a fake job.
